Dear Mr or Mrs/Ms then the last name or alternatively Dear Store Manager Etc.

Main application letter: Your letter of application should inform and include the following the position you are applying for and why the employer or employment agency should select you for an interview (so you need to sell yourself highlight your achievements and attributes)

 

The First Paragraph:

In the first paragraph of your letter include information on why you are applying for this particular job, so mention the job and where you found the position ,was it online a newspaper etc. In addition, if you know somebody whom works at the company include there details as well.

 

Middle Paragraph of your Letter:

In this paragraph, you need to highlight what you have to offer the company. Therefore, you need to make strong connections between your individual requirements and abilities that are listed in the job position. Mention and specify how your particular skills and experience match the job you are applying for, in addition try to expand on the information that you provided in your resume but do not try to repeat it just word it differently. Use bullets or several shorter paragraphs to highlight your statements on why you will be the best person for the job instead of just one large block of text.

 

Last Paragraph:

In conclusion, of your letter for employment finalise by thanking your employer for considering you for the job. In addition include information on how you will follow up (normally one week is the typical duration)

You can end your letter with a complimentary close as “Your`s sincerely” and then your Signature.

By following this simple format, you can be assured that your employment letter together with your resume should give you that professional edge that might just land you that ideal job you are looking for.
