There are a number of very famous attractions in Stratford upon Avon you can visit but you do not want to miss out on this one when visiting. The Stratford Town Walk are winners of the prestigious Godiva Award for best visitor attraction and rightly so since they offer various tours ranging from sightseeing of the famous town of Stratford upon Avon and the stunning Cotswolds countryside to Ghost Walks and Cruises.
The organisation was formed in 2002 and consists of a group of local and dedicated enthusiasts who possess many years of guiding experience coupled with specialising in walking and sightseeing tours to coach tours as well.

Guided tours of Stratford upon Avon are held every day of the year whatever the weather so you are advised to dress appropriately. The professional guides take you through the town as you discover the hidden wonders of the town with all its beauty and charm.
The tour itself takes in Shakespeare’s Birthplace as you will follow his story from cradle to grave well as the other houses including Nash House and the charming Halls Croft. Other highlights are the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare was Baptised and finally laid to rest.
Along the tour you will hear tales of plagues and flooding and fires but it’s not all about history as you will also discover favourite pubs tea houses and restaurants.
Other Famous tours are the Ghost Walks and Cruises these award winning tours are held whatever the weather so you are advised to dress appropriately for the night. The tours are conducted by a group from the Equity-Entertainers-Professional Magicians association and include the "Man in Black" as he is known.
On this tour you will discover and hear all about the buildings in Stratford upon Avon where terrible deeds took place and stories of ghost’s witches misery and murder. The tour includes a haunted tearoom and the so called phantom at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
The Ghost Cruises are respectively held on the River Avon in the evenings and once again you will be joined by the the "Man in Black" as well as other professional entertainers. On the cruise you will hear chilling stories mixed in with magic and mind reading.
