Places for Comedy in Stratford.

Cox’s Yard:

Cox’s Yard is a great place for all round entertainment and is a regular venue for some great nights of comedy.Cox’s yard holds comedy nights on the first Thursday of every month and you can see and enjoy a whole array of stand up comedy with some very well known comedians on the circuit. The comedy night normally begins at 8pm and you can get food and drink at the bar although table service is available as well Tickets for the comedy shows cost £7.00 but you can book in advance if you wish

The usual line up of comedy consists of 3 comedians and you have a fantastic compere to announce the comedy acts making it a great night of comedy in Stratford.

Cox’s Yard is located at Bridgefoot Stratford upon Avon.  

The Civic Hall:

The Civic Hall is also a well-known venue for comedy in Stratford and are held on Wednesdays normally in the middle of the month. Although this is a new venture for the Civic Hall, you can expect to see many top comedy acts that are currently on the comedy circuit with an array of some top names from London and from all around the UK.

All the comedy performances are stand up performed respectively in a cabaret style and a comedy night would not be complete without a drink so a promotion on drink is as to say thrown in on the night, making it a complete night of comedy in the town.

The Civic Hall is Located at 14 Rother Street Stratford upon Avon

 

PictureHouse Stratford:

Picture House Stratford upon Avon is another great venue for comedy in Stratford; the Picture House in Stratford is a great cinema but holds comedy nights on a various nights at the Funhouse Comedy Club. The comedy shows start at 9pm with doors opening at 8.30pm and all shows cost only £3.00.

The Picture House Stratford is located in Windsor Street Stratford upon Avon

N.01 Shakespeare Street Stratford:

Another fantastic venue for comedy in Stratford is N0.1 Shakespeare Street Bar and Kitchen. Not only is this venue a great place for a drink and a evening meal but at the Chapel you can expect to see some fantastic comedy acts as well as live music DJs and dance nights and even sporting events on the big screen.So if you want to combine Comedy with a great dining experience then visit N.01 Shakespeare Street in Stratford.
