If you are interested in motoring and motor cars then a day out at the Heritage Motor Centre is a must. The Heritage Motor Centre offers both interactive and informative exhibitions which chart the history of British motoring all the way back to the 1890s to the present day.The centre has in its museum over 180 fantastic and exciting cars from the past century and you will be able to find out the history from the very first cars to be designed to the latest technology packed cars on British roads today.

The different and fascinating exhibitions range from the "Time Road" where you can discover and follow how motoring changed and influenced family life from the early decades of motoring set against period music and see some memorable events in motoring to a exhibition which takes you through the "Making of British Cars" here find out how the motor industry grew in the 50s to the present day and where it may be heading in the future with the centre been the home to the worlds greatest collection of British Cars under one roof.

If you are more interested in how the motor car works then there are interactive exhibits which will allow you to get under the skin and reveal and unravel all the mysteries from how the suspension works to power steering and how improvements have been made to certain components in cars over the years.

Also at the centre there are outdoor activities available such as Go-Karts a Miniature Roadway and even a 4x4 experience plus a children’s playground and picnic site and nature path.
When at the centre free guided tours are available normally twice a day and visitors to the centre will be pleased to know that a onsite cafe is located at the centre serving hot and cold meals and drinks and snacks.

The Heritage Motor centre is located at Banbury and can easily be reached off J12 of the M40 and then by following the B4100 to Banbury and is within half a mile of Gaydon Village.
